Wanda Gail Dudley

Ms. Wanda Gail Dudley, 64, passed away Friday, October 28, 2011, at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington, following a period of declining health. Born April 18, 1947 in Jacksonville, FL, she was a daughter of the late Mildred Addison Dudley and Waymon Dock Dudley. She was of the Baptist faith. Family members left with fond memories include her two sisters, Suzette Bange and husband Ronnie and Sharon Childress and husband Tommy, all of Kannapolis; her much "loved" nephews, Randy Childress and James Bange; aunts, cousins, friends and her beloved cat, Sid! A huge thank you to Gail's extended family and friends who supported the family during Gail's illness. Also, a thank you to Wake Forest University Baptist Hospital and the Palliative Care Unit and the staff of Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington for your love and care of Gail. A memorial service to remember and celebrate her life will be held at 7:30 pm Tuesday, November 1, 2011, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel in Kannapolis. Rev. Neal Brower will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:15 pm Tuesday at Lady's Funeral Home.
