Wanda Krimminger Mills

Wanda Krimminger Mills, 59, of China Grove, died Sunday, October 18, 2009, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. Born March 12, 1950, in Kannapolis, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Ruby Krimminger of Kannapolis. Mrs. Mills graduated from A.L Brown High School in 1969, and went on to graduate from Charlotte Memorial Hospital School of Radiological Technology and became a Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist. She continued on to receive her RN in nursing from Rowan Cabarrus Community College. Later she joined the staff at RCCC and began teaching CNA classes. She was a faithful servant of the Lord and was a member of Jackson Park Baptist Church in Kannapolis. Survivors include her husband, Harry Mills of China Grove; brother, Billy Krimminger and wife Faye of Kannapolis; stepdaughter, Micalan M. Bethea and husband Mike; grandchildren, Sara, Meaghan, Austin and Brennan Bethea of China Grove; and her lifelong friend, Pat Scercy Gantt of Salisbury. Funeral services for Mrs. Mills will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at Jackson Park Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Lady's Funeral Home, Kannapolis. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to, Jackson Park Baptist Church Building Fund, 1005 Jackson Street, Kannapolis NC 28083.
