Mr. Warren G. Snow, age 90, of Kannapolis passed away Saturday, October 8, 2011 at the N.C. State Veterans Home in Salisbury. He had been in declining health for many years and seriously ill four months. Mr. Snow was born December 9, 1920 in Wilkes County, the son of the late Charlie M. Snow and the late Florence Smith Snow. Mr. Snow was a veteran of World War II and a member of the VFW Post 8989. Before retiring he worked 42 years for the former Cannon Mills Company. He also worked six years at Terry Products in Kannapolis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Eva Clampet Snow; a son Keith Douglas Snow; 5 brothers: Otto, Clayton, Buddy, Marshall, and Evin Snow; one sister, Lois Mecimore. Mr. Snow is survived by one daughter, Theresa Bunn and spouse Gary; one grandson, Brian Bunn; one sister, Jean Haney; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Snow was a member of Blackwelder Park Baptist Church. Service: Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 11th at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Leon Hawks. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis with military graveside rites rendered by the Cabarrus Veterans Honor Guard. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm prior to the service. At other times the family will be at the home of his daughter and son-in-law Theresa and Gary Bunn. Memorials: Memorial contributions may be made to Living Water Church of God, 162 N. Little Texas Road Kannapolis, NC 28083, or to Crosspointe Baptist Church, 1175 Crosspointe Dr., Concord, NC 28025.
