Wava Joyce Anderson

Wava Joyce Anderson, 57, of Springdale Avenue, Kannapolis, died Sunday, April 4, 2010, at Carolinas Medical Center-Northeast. A memorial service will be conducted at 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2010, at the Amity House at Lady's Funeral Home. The Rev. Karen Kaser Odor will officiate. The family will greet friends following the service. Born October 1, 1952 in Richwood, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Wyatt Anderson of Cedar Grove, WV and the late Joyce Conard Anderson. Wava was employed by Blythe Construction in Charlotte. In addition to her father, survivors include three sisters, Laura Martinez, with whom she made her home, Vera Hamilton of San Antonio, Texas and Azel Fannin of Greenville, SC; a brother, Adrian A. Anderson of Whitesville, WV; 11 nieces and nephews, Able, Manolito, Crystal, Vickie, Jeremiah, Joshua, James, Joyce, Rebecca, Travis and K.D.; and nine great-nieces and nephews, Ashlie, Adrian, Manolito, Jr., Maite, Danny, Gabriel, Zayvion, Jesse and Miah Sky.
