Wayne Harold Thompson

Mr. Wayne Harold Thompson, III, 33, passed away Monday, June 8, 2015, in Lake City, FL.

A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 pm, Thursday, June 11, 2015, at Lady’s Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ralph Hager will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis, NC.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Lady’s Funeral Home, prior to the service.

Mr. Thompson was born August 3, 1981 in Cabarrus County, NC. He was the son of Wayne Harold Thompson, Jr. and the late Tamara Webster Thompson. He was a construction worker in mobile home manufacturing.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jeffrey Scott Thompson "Scooter".

Mr. Thompson, in addition to his father, is survived by one half-sister, Kelly Jo Little; maternal grandfather, Ernest William Webster; and paternal grandparents, Linda and Richard Barnhardt.
