I spent many wonderful times with Wes during the years we worked together on
Oasis Shrine Director's Staff. He added much to our Staff with his Blessed hands
and his painting. He will be missed by all of us on the Director's Staff, this will be
especially so when we start to paint one of our stunts and do not have a painter
that can match Wes. I will think of Wes at every Shrine Ceremonial I go to, as
I look at the beautiful backdrop he painted for us. I will think of him many more
times, every time I get in my boat "SEA LEE III" he lettered for me.
We lost a fine man and a gentleman In Wes; we were blessed to have known him. Ab
