Wiley Wade Bare, Sr.

Mr. Wiley Wade Bare, Sr., 72, of 7832 Longbriar Drive, died Thursday, July 2, 2009, at Universal Healthcare in Concord. A funeral service is scheduled for 4:00 pm Saturday, July 4, 2009, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Elder Manuel Valladares will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3:45 pm Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home. Mr. Bare was born May 10, 1937 in Ashe County. He was a son of the late Lloyd Timothy Bare and Sessie Mabel Walters Bare. He retired from Pillowtex where was a supervisor. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Bare is survived by four daughters, Windy Virtue of Troutman, Sissy Hogan of Rockingham, Gay Dennis and husband, David and Lecia Dennis and husband, Donald all of China Grove; four sons, Wade Bare, Jr. and wife, Wanda of Midland, Joseph Bare and wife, Jane of Statesville, Josh Bare of Kannapolis, Tony Bullard of Rockingham; four brothers, Jim Bare, Richard Bare and Bill Bare all of West Jefferson, and Jerry Bare of Statesville; sister, Elizabeth "Lizzy" Burgess of Kannapolis; 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Contributions may be made to the Lady's Funeral Home, 268 N. Cannon Blvd., Kannapolis, NC 28083 to help with the funeral expenses.
