William Parks Beaver

Mr. William Parks Beaver, 88, passed away Monday, October 13, 2014, at his home.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, October 16, 2014, at Lady’s Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. David Franks will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11:00 am Thursday at Lady’s Funeral Home prior to the service.

Mr. Beaver was born on August 15, 1926 in Rowan County. He was a son of the late Daniel Marshall Beaver and Alberta Parks Beaver. He is a US Army veteran. Mr. Beaver was a member of First Reformed Church of Landis. He was a member of the Eureka Masonic Lodge #283 of China Grove, a 32° Scottish Rite Mason and an Oasis Temple Shriner. Mr. Beaver was a former member of the Landis Fire Department and Town Board.

Mr. Beaver is survived by his wife, Bonnie Poarch Beaver; two children, Karen Beaver Burns of Denver and Alan Beaver and wife, Cheryl, of Landis; and a step-grandson, Johnathon Forrest.
