William Roosevelt �Bud� Fincher, Jr.

Mr. William Roosevelt "Bud" Fincher, Jr., 76, of 2360 Centergrove Road, died Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at CMC-NorthEast in Concord. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Saturday, March 8, 2008, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Diane Wales will officiate. Interment will follow at Center Grove Lutheran Church Cemetery in Kannapolis. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 pm Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home. Mr. Fincher was born April 27, 1931 in Kannapolis. He was the son of the late William Roosevelt Fincher, Sr. and Bertie Eddleman Fincher. He retired from Cannon Mills, where he worked in the Bleachery. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Korea. He was a former member of Center Grove Lutheran Church and a current member of the Cannon Memorial Masonic Lodge #626. Mr. Fincher is survived by sister, Rose Patterson of Asheboro; one niece, Laurie P. Foster of Asheboro; two nephews, Damon Patterson of Daytona Beach, FL and Darrell Patterson of Shelby; three great nieces and three great nephews.
