William Calvin Dellinger, 92, passed away Friday, July 10, 2026, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

A funeral service is scheduled for 12:00 pm Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Robert Earnhardt will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 11:45 am Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home.

William was born December 16, 1933 in Lincoln County. He was a son of the late William Halcomb Dellinger/Dillinger and Annie Mae Caudle Dellinger. He worked for Cannon Mills as a supervisor for Plant 9. He was a member of New Beginnings Community Worship Center, where he enjoyed playing the guitar. William enjoyed spending his free time fishing and being out on the water.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Mae Dellinger; brother, J.W. "Chris" Dellinger and three sisters, Billie Elizabeth Yon, Evelyn Gilley and Mary Naomi Contamarinas.

William is survived by two sons, Steven Lee Dellinger of Kannapolis and Mark Alan and wife Jennifer of Salisbury; five grandchildren, Logan Dellinger, Heather Dellinger, Forrest Dellinger, Davidge Dellinger and Steven Lee Dellinger, Jr. and five great grandchildren, Hannah Lee Dellinger, Akrie Dellinger, Lydia Dellinger, Killian Dellinger and Israel Dellinger.
