William Morrison Kerr

November 23, 1950 — June 22, 2005

Mr. William "Bill" Morrison Kerr, 54, of 10809 Earnhardt Lake Road, Davidson, died Wednesday, June 22, 2005, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. A memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2005, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel in Kannapolis. The Rev. Edwin Luther will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. At other times they will be at the residence. Born November 23, 1950, in Iredell County, he was the son of Virginia Morris Kerr of Mooresville and the late Mack Kerr. He was an electrical supervisor for Bell South in Charlotte. He was a member of Northwest Baptist Church and an avid fisherman. Bill was a fighter and survivor. He was a good father, excellent husband, and will be greatly missed but not forgotten. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Pamela Johnson Kerr; two sons, Matthew Ryan Kerr of Harrisburg and Andrew Patrick Kerr of the home and currently on a mission trip in Brazil; two sisters, Melinda K. Wilson of China Grove and Becky K. Beaver of Mooresville; and a brother, Mack A. Kerr of Stanly County. In lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the family at 10809 Earnhardt Lake Road, Davidson, NC 28036, to help with medical expenses they have incurred.
