William Robert Lambert Jr.

Mr. William Robert Lambert, Jr., 68, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017, at Olde Knox Commons in Huntersville.

A graveside service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. Rev. Buck Canup will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:00 pm Tuesday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mr. Lambert was born September 9, 1948 in Cabarrus County. He was a son of the late William Robert Lambert, Sr. and Ruth Ritchie Lambert. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam. He was a member of the VFW and the DAV. After retirement, he loved traveling to see different parts of the country.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Lambert.

Mr. Lambert is survived by two sisters, Shelia Parham of Kannapolis and Brenda Plummer and husband Donald of Harrisburg; brother, Billy Lambert and wife Elaine of Oakboro; and a nephew, David Parham and wife Juanita of Kannapolis.
