William Michael Merriman

Mr. William Michael "Mike" Merriman, 59, of 903 Klondale Avenue, died Sunday, April 11, 2010, at CMC-NorthEast in Concord. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Rich Szekely will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9:00 pm Tuesday at Lady's Funeral Home. Mr. Merriman was born May 28, 1950 in Concord. He was the son of Kathleen Hall Merriman and the late Floyd Collins Merriman. He worked for Phillip Morris in Concord until he retired in 2005 due to his health. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by son, Christopher Michael Merriman. Mr. Merriman, in addition to his mother, is survived by a son, Ian Conza of Woburn, MA; sister, Robin Renea Bodnar of China Grove; two nephews, Christopher and Jonathan Willyard; niece, Stephanie Willyard; great niece, Shauna Willard; two great nephews, Mason Tucker Sisk and Elijay Johnson.
