William Roy Milstead

Mr. William "Buster" Roy Milstead, 59, of 2070 Shuping Mill Road, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2011, at his residence. A funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Mike Burkett and Rev. Ronnie Eugene Tucker will officiate. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery in Kannapolis. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9:00 pm Monday at Lady's Funeral Home. Mr. Milstead was born September 12, 1951 in Concord. He was a son of Ruby Louise Kerley Stokes and the late Charles Burton Milstead. He worked as a truck driver. Mr. Milstead, in addition to his mother, is survived by two daughters, Shirley Gail Milstead of Kannapolis and Tiffany Milstead Shoe of Rockwell; two sons, William Roy Milstead, Jr. of Kannapolis and Dennis Milstead of Salisbury; two sisters, Shirley Diane Yancey and Debbie Milstead Graham both of Charleston, SC; two brothers, Terry Lynn Milstead of Charleston, SC and Ronnie Odell Milstead of Concord; fianc , Nancy Childress of Rockwell; and eight grandchildren.
