William J. Watts

William Jenkins "Bill" Watts, II, 51, of 8049 Longbriar Drive, Kannapolis, died Friday, February 27, 2009, at his residence. A memorial service is scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2009, at his home. The family will receive friends at his home following the service. Mr. Watts was born September 6, 1957 in Huntington, WV. He was the son of William Jenkins Watts and Patsy Pearl Conner Webb. He worked for Purcer Central Rewinding as an electrical technician. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Robbins Watts; step children, Philip Norton of Kannapolis, Kerry Norton and wife Kandi of Lake City, FL, Tanya Norton of Lowville, NY, Kimberly Needham and husband Mark of Kannapolis; step-father, Gary Webb and wife Louise of Ohio; eight grandchildren; two brothers, David Webb of SC, and Scott Webb and wife Vickie of Ohio; a sister, Debbie Carter of WV; father-in-law, Herbert Robbins; brothers-in-law, Kelvin Robbins, Melvin Robbins, Roy Robbins and wife Patty; and nephews, Christopher and Shawn Carter.
