Willie Mae Callicutt Woodard

Mrs. Willie Mae Callicutt Woodard, 92, formerly of Kannapolis, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2011, at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Woodard and daughter, Sheila Mae Woodard. Willie Mae is survived by daughters, Joyce Woodard Schroeder and Diane Woodard; 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; and sister, Era Maude Craver. She always enjoyed her career as a nurse, loved God and her family and enjoyed being with them. She will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:00 pm Sunday, April 24 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue where services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, April 25. A viewing will be held at Lady's Funeral Home in Kannapolis from 6 to 8:00 pm Tuesday, April 26 with a graveside service at 11:00 am Wednesday, April 27 at Kannapolis Cemetery.
