Winifred Banks

Mrs. Winifred Osborne Banks, 90, passed away Friday, July 1, 2016, at her residence.

A funeral service is scheduled for 5:00 pm Sunday, July 3, 2016, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Mike Roper will officiate. Interment will be at 11:00 am Tuesday at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Johnson City, TN.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 4:45 pm Sunday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Banks was born December 7, 1925 in London, England. She was the daughter of the late Frederick Osborne and Elizabeth Simpson Osborne.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Colon Banks; and a daughter, Jean Starnes.

Mrs. Banks is survived by a daughter, Pamela Duncan and husband John of Charlotte; son, Rodney Banks and wife Carol of Johnson City, TN; 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.
