Yelda Flowe Edgison

Miss Yelda Flowe Edgison, 80, a resident of Big Elm Nursing Center, Kannapolis, and formerly of Chapel Street, Landis, died Monday, April 27, 2009 at the nursing center. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, April 30, 2009 at Carolina Memorial Park. The Rev. Mike Roper will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Lady's Funeral Home. Born January 28, 1929 in Cabarrus County, she was the daughter of the late Roy Flowe Edgison and Viola Krimminger Edgison. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Earl "Charlie" Edgison. Survivors include a brother, Clyde Lance "Tom" Edgison of Oldsmar, Fla.; and five nieces and nephews, Terry Taylor, Clyde Edgison, Jr., Terina Barger, Dennis Edgison and Cheryl Keene.
