Another Local Funeral Home Sells

June 8, 2024

Dear Friends,

It has been brought to our attention by numerous people throughout our community that another local funeral home is no longer going to be locally owned and operated. The funeral industry is seeing a lot of change and it seems that the changes are faster than ever. During these times of change in the funeral service industry, big companies, backed by venture capitalists are buying out local funeral homes big and small. This was a big trend years ago, but we are seeing this trend ramp up again. Since 1906, Lady's Funeral Home & Crematory has been locally owned and we will continue to be a locally owned and family operated funeral home. And we will continue to be present to serve you as we have for more than 118 years. Also keep in mind that advance planning is available to everyone, and we can discuss all of our service options and being able to transfer existing arrangements from no longer locally owned funeral homes. Our team is here for you when you need us and it is our pleasure to continue to serve you here locally, at 268 N. Cannon Blvd., where our business and its decisions remain.
