Martha Arriaga Mendoza

Mrs. Martha Arriaga Mendoza, 92, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021, at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Father Fabio de Jesus Marin Morales C.S.s.R. will officiate. Interment will follow at St. James Catholic Church Cemetery in Concord. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 pm Tuesday at Lady's Funeral Home. Mrs. Mendoza was born October 21, 1929 in Uruapan, Michoacan, Mexico. She was a daughter of the late Manuel Arriaga and Maria Bel Carmen Mendoza. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She had a pretty voice and enjoyed singing. She was a dedicated mother to her children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Salvador Farfan-Padilla; two sons, Salvador and Javier Farfan. Mrs. Mendoza is survived by three daughters, Martha Farfan of Kanapolis, Elizabeth Farfan of Italy, and Anna Maria Farfan of Kannapolis; son, Jose' Carlos Farfan of Concord; two brothers, Alfonso Arriaga-Mendoza, Ramon Bermudez-Mendoza; eight grandchildren, Armando, Martha, Yamel, Axel, Eni, Eli, Gretel and Anel; five great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
