The battle is over, the victory has been won following a twenty five year battle with cancer!! Patricia D. LaFave passed away peacefully at her home on February 19, at the age of 67. Patricia is proceeded in death by her Father Ken Hullett, Mother Shirley Dietz Hullett, Daughter Susan Diane Greene, and Uncle Baxter Dietz. Patricia is survived by her Husband Joe LaFave, her Children Karen & Derek Snider, Melissa Yoder, Adrian (Joseph) & Rebecca LaFave, Christy & Melvin Weaver, Hanna & Nelson Miller, and her Sister Teresa Wright. Patricia is also survived by her 14 Grandchildren. Dylan Snider, Karli Snider, Sierra Yoder, Erica Yoder, Brian Weaver, Dustin Yoder, Brooklyn Yoder, Ben Weaver, Blake Weaver, Ariel Miller, Anthony LaFave, Octavia Miller, Elliot LaFave, and Lindor Miller. Patricia was born in Gastonia, NC on May 7th, 1953. Patricia enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, traveling with her husband and kids, flowers, and being outside!The family visitation will be Tuesday February 23rd, from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 6:00pm-8:00pm at Restoration Church located at 3700 South River Church Road, Woodleaf, NC 27054. The funeral will be Wednesday the 24th at 10:00am at Restoration Church. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The funeral service will be streamed live at https://restorationtriad.org/watch-live starting at 9:45 am Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mexico Medical Missions 1302 Waugh Drive #685 Houston, Texas 77019, or Gospel Express Prison Ministries, PO Box 217, Lynn, NC 28750. Patricia served alongside of her husband with love and passion in these ministries through the years. Patricia was always eager to help others with a smile.
