Teresa Consagra Costa Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mrs. Teresa Consagra Costa, 67, passed away peacefully, in her sleep on Thursday, November 14th, 2019 at her home in Kannapolis, after enduring years of a well-fought battle with cancer. A funeral service is scheduled for 4:00 pm Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2:00 pm Tuesday at Lady's Funeral Home. Teresa was born in Licata, Sicily on September 8th, 1952. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Consagra. Teresa was dedicated and baptized to Jehovah on February 10th, 1979. Throughout her battle with cancer, her loyalty and faithfulness remained strong. In her final days, she spoke of being with us all again in the resurrection. Nothing was more important to Teresa than her family and religion. She often kept her battles with cancer quiet to protect those she loved from worry and stress. Teresa had a green thumb and loved gardening. Not only did she fill her yard and home with beautiful flowers, but she also grew her own vegetables. She loved to cook for her family and would often incorporate the vegetables she grew into delicious, Italian family dinners. Spending as much time as possible with her family was always a priority. Nothing made her happier than spending time with her family. Teresa was a strong, hardworking woman who was always willing to lend a helping hand. She was beautiful inside and out. She was gentle, kind, honest, humble and wise. Teresa was well respected and loved by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed. Mrs. Costa is survived by her husband, Robert; three sons, Jason, Robert and Tony and wife Trina; four sisters, Pina, Maria, Anna, Gracie and the late Vincenza Caico; one brother, Enzo; three grandchildren, Ashley, Charlie and Matthew; and many nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly. Non solo ha riempito il suo cortile e la sua casa con bellissimi fiori, ma ha anche coltivato le proprie verdure. Adorava cucinare per la sua famiglia e spesso incorporava le verdure che coltivava in deliziose cene italiane. Trascorrere più tempo possibile con la sua famiglia è sempre stata una priorità. Nulla la rendeva più felice di passare del tempo con la sua famiglia. Teresa era una donna forte e laboriosa, sempre disposta a dare una mano. Era bella dentro e fuori. Era gentile, gentile, onesta, umile e saggia. Teresa era molto rispettata e amata da tutti coloro che la conoscevano. Ci mancherà molto.
