Albert O'Kazen's Obituary
Mr. Albert O'Kazen, 80, of 4197 Weddington Road, Concord, died Wednesday, August 15, 2007, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast.
Born June 23, 1927 in Flint Michigan, he was the son of the late John O'Kazen and Margaret Cook O'Kazen. He was a US Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War. He retired from the Chevrolet manufacturing plant of General Motors in Flint, Michigan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Jean Decker O'Kazen, who died August 6, 1981.
Survivors include his wife, Verda June Springer O'Kazen of the home; two daughters, Shelley M. Rex and husband, Doug, with whom he made his home; Kristy Lyn McNew and husband, Marvin, of Huntington, IN; two sisters, Marion Eckerd and Katie Lorenz; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
