Alfred Frederick Ohmes' Obituary
Mr. Alfred “Al” Frederick Ohmes, Jr., 74, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2013, at Tucker Hospice House.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday, July 11, 2013, at Centerview Baptist Church. Rev. Willie Rash will officiate. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 pm Thursday at the church.
Al was born August 9, 1938 in New Haven, CT. He was the son of the late Alfred Frederick Ohmes, Sr. and Estelle Danick Ohmes. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was employed by Home Depot in Kannapolis. He was a member of Centerview Baptist Church and Masonic Corinthian Lodge #103 where he was also a Past Master in 1974.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Ohmes.
Al is survived by two sons, Todd Michael Ohmes of Baton Rouge, LA and Troy David Ohmes of Charlotte; three grandchildren, Kendall Ohmes, Katelyn Ohmes and Bryce Ohmes; and his first wife and mother of his children, Judi Ohmes of Kernersville.
