Ann Marie Houchin's Obituary
Mrs. Ann Marie Davis "Nanny" Houchin, 73, passed away Monday, March 14, 2016, at her residence.
A memorial service is scheduled for 6:00 pm Sunday, March 20, 2016, at Victory Baptist Church. Rev. Nelson Wright will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm Thursday at Lady's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Houchin was born October 11, 1942 in Louisville, KY. She was a daughter of the late Clyde L. Davis and Georgia Mae Chrisman Carlin. She raised her boys in Missouri and Oklahoma before moving to North Carolina, where she resided with her sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Herbert McCleskey. She loved everyone and really enjoyed fishing. She was Nanny and Momma to all that knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Norman Williams, Jr.; and second husband James Houchin; and daughter, Renee Davis.
Mrs. Houchin is survived by daughter, Charlotte Arnold of Humansville, MO; two sons, Lester Brown and wife Robin of Linwood and Shannon Williams and wife Robin of China Grove; four grandchildren, Trenton Britton, Tomas Williams, Brett Brown, and Eli Williams; two great-grandchildren, Emma Coley and Sawyer Brown; and numerous family and friends everywhere.
