Annie Pauline Joyner Pinion's Obituary
Mrs. Annie Pauline Joyner Pinion, 82, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Johnny Boggs will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 pm Tuesday at Lady's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Pinion was born October 28, 1935 in Salisbury. She was a daughter of the late Ruben W. Joyner and Myrtle Rogers Joyner. She was a Graduate of Granite Quarry High School in 1954 and worked for Cannon Mills for many years, where she retired.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Pinion; a brother, Fred Joyner; and two sons, Sharkey Lynn Yates and Randy Keith Yates.
Mrs. Pinion is survived by a son, Buster Yates of Concord; a daughter, Rhonda Mauldin of Salisbury; two sisters, Betty Johnson and husband John of Kannapolis and Blondine Dickerson of Salisbury; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
