Beatrice Williams' Obituary
Mrs. Beatrice “Ms. Bea” Woodard Williams, 92, passed away Wednesday, September 04, 2013 at Tucker Hospice House.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, September 6, 2013 at Blackwelder Park Baptist Church. Rev. Don Davis and Rev. Stan Welch will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 pm Friday prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Williams was born on May 23, 1921 in Ruby, SC. She was the daughter of the late William Kite Woodard and Maggie Mae Brigman Woodard. She was a long time member of Blackwelder Park Baptist Church. Mrs. Williams enjoyed visiting the shut-ins of the church and held monthly prayer groups for many years in her home.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore R. Williams in 1980.
Mrs. Williams is survived by two daughters, Linda Brewer and Mary Ann Nivens and husband Drew both of Kannapolis; four sons, Keith Williams of Hickory Grove, SC, Ted Williams and wife Gail of Wake Forest, David R. Williams and wife Sue of Kannapolis and Tommy Williams and wife Faye of Raeford; six grandchildren, Holly, Brett, Jonathan, Jennifer, Aprille and Brian; and seven great grandchildren, Mason, Alden, Beau, Josie, Ellie, Peyton and Emma.
