Betty Ruth Joyner Johnson's Obituary
Mrs. Betty Ruth Joyner Johnson, 88, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Best of Care Assisted Living in Kannapolis.
A graveside service is scheduled for 12:00 pm Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Carolina Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11:30 am Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Johnson was born April 4, 1937 in Rowan County. She was a daughter of the late Ruben Joyner and Myrtle Rogers. Mrs. Johnson retired from Cannon Mills after many years of service.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Lucas Johnson; her son, Daryl Johnson and daughter, Teresa Lane.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her nephew, Phillip Gentry, Jr. and four grandchildren, Heather Johnson, Nichole Lane, Jon Lane, and Chris Lane.
