Betty Lou McConnell Mabe's Obituary
Mrs. Betty Lou McConnell Mabe, 87, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2019, at Genesis Health Care - Mooresville Center.
A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Monday, October 14, 2019, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Donnie Wise will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 10:45 am Monday at Lady's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Mabe was born February 3, 1932 in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of the late Laddie McConnell and Margie Ingle Eller. She loved to cook and loved to flower garden..
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Odis Samuel Mabe; and three brothers, William, Wayne and Melvin McConnell.
Mrs. Mabe is survived by two daughters, Deborah Goble of Landis and Robin Avery of Raleigh; four grandchildren, April Holderfield of Rockwell, Chad Goble and Tasha Bowles, both of Mooresville, and Casey Samuels of Newton; and seven great grandchildren, Bryce Morgan, Ayden Harrell, Maci Goble, Carter Goble, Hayden Hatcher, Leelyn Hatcher and Lilyanna Hatcher.
