Betty Sue Mann Milstead's Obituary
Heaven gained a special angel, Betty "Wildthing" Mann Milstead, 75, on Friday, January 19, 2018.
A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, January 26, 2018, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Robert Earnhardt will officiate. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery in Kannapolis.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 pm Friday at Lady's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Milstead was born October 24, 1942 in Iredell County. She was a daughter of the late Carl C. Mann and Eva Black Mann. She was a very special mom that always put her daughters ahead of herself. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the joys of her life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Odell Milstead; son, James "Oddie" Milstead; and brother, Homer Mann.
Those left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Tammy Shuping and husband Keith of Rockwell, Ellen Wilkerson and husband Kelvin of Kannapolis and Robin Moffitt and husband Kevin of Salisbury; seven grandchildren, Wendy, Kelvin, Jr., Scottie, Chris, Alan, Travis and Amanda; and 15 great grandchildren who all loved her dearly.
