Blenda Nesbitt Boger's Obituary
Mrs. Blenda Nesbitt Boger, 87, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at Hospice of Union County in Monroe.
A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Carolina Memorial Park. Rev. Steve Leigh will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 1:30 pm Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home.
Blenda was born November 7, 1937 in Rowan County. She was the daughter of the late James Monroe Nesbitt and Sadie McDaniel Nesbitt. She was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher and sang in the choir. She retired from Cannon Mills where she worked in the Sheet Department.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard James Boger; and her brother, James Grady Nesbitt.
Blenda is survived by her daughter, Lisa Boger Doolittle and husband Johnny of Kannapolis; two grandsons, Walter O'Brian Parham and wife Samantha of Concord and James Lee Parham of Cullowhee, NC; two great grandchildren, Hudson Parham and Hadley Parham; and lifetime best friend, Darlene Brooks.
