Bobbie Jean Ellington's Obituary
Ms. Bobbie Jean Glenn Ellington, 69, passed away Friday, November 21, 2014, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem after a short battle with cancer.
Ms. Ellington was born November 11, 1945, in Cabarrus County. She was the daughter of the late Jay Mack "Red" Ervin and Geneva Estelle Woodward Ervin. She worked for Allison Erwin in Charlotte and later worked for Waccamaw Pottery in Kannapolis. Bobbie liked going to church at Holloways Baptist Church in Lexington where she rejoiced with friends and her Christian family. She also enjoyed fishing and camping at High Rock Camp Ground.
Ms. Ellington is survived by her son, Mark Ellington and wife Tammy; and her granddaughter, Amanda Ellington, all of Landis. Bobbie also leaves behind her new friends and loved ones from Abbots Creek Center in Lexington where she resided during her illness.
