Bobby Gene Hubbard's Obituary
Mr. Bobby Gene Hubbard, Sr., 80, passed away Monday, November 2, 2015, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ralph Robinette will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 pm Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home.
Mr. Hubbard was born July 18, 1935 in Lexington, NC. He was a son of the late Anna Lee Hubbard Turner. He worked for China Grove Textiles as a supervisor in the #2 winding room and later worked for Stanley Tools in Concord as a security guard. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines. He attended Rodgers Park Baptist Church and Central Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Bobby “Gene” Hubbard, Jr.
Mr. Hubbard is survived by his wife, Doris Gaultney Hubbard; daughter, Kelly Nagpal, and husband Sunil of Concord; son, Jeff Hubbard of Kannapolis; sister, Judy Towell, and husband Bobby of China Grove; five grandchildren, Vijay Nagpal, Justin Nagpal, Jordan Nagpal, Caitlin Hubbard and Dakota Hubbard; niece, Angela Morgan and husband, Farion; and two nephews, David Towell of China Grove and Mark Towell of Bessemer City.
