Bobby Ray Williams' Obituary
Mr. Bobby Ray Williams, 81, of 120 Tanglewood Drive, Kannapolis, died Sunday, May 10, 2009, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Al Riquelme will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. At other times, they will be at the home.
Born October 23, 1927 in Monroe, he was the son of the late James Carl Williams and Viola Mead Williams. Mr Williams was a retired truck driver.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Todd Kinsel Williams and Howard Lee Williams; two sisters, Helen Frances Williams and Martha Ann Gordon; and two grandchildren, Ashley Renee Kinsel Williams and Chad Kinsel Williams.
Survivors include his wife, June Read Williams; a daughter, Bonnie June Lentz of China Grove; two sons, Bobby Clifford Williams of China Grove and Paul Ray Williams of Lancaster, SC; two sisters, Nancy Gabriel of Tullahoma, TN and Carolyn Hall of High Point; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
