Bonnie Robinette Wallace's Obituary
Mrs. Bonnie Robinette Wallace, 78, of Kannapolis, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at CMC-NorthEast.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2008, at Centerview Baptist Church. The Rev. Willie Rash and her brother, the Rev. Ralph Robinette, will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2008, at Lady's Funeral Home.
Born August 10, 1929 in Cabarrus County, she was the daughter of the late Royal Ralph Robinette and Kathleen Safrit Robinette. Bonnie owned and operated Wallace Furniture on Jackson Park Road in Kannapolis. She was an active member of Centerview Baptist Church, where she served in the nursery for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jay Lee Wallace, who died December 26, 1990; and a brother, Richard Robinette.
Survivors include three sons, Charles R. Reed II and wife Linda, and David J. Reed, all of Kannapolis, Robert C. "Bobby" Reed of China Grove; two daughters, Susan Clifton and husband Jerry of Clarksville, TN, Jan Folson and husband Bruce of Greenville, SC; five brothers, Ernest Robinette, Ned Robinette and S. L. Robinette, all of Kannapolis, Bill Robinette of Greensboro and Ralph Robinette of China Grove; seven grandchildren, Kimberly Howell and husband Dale of Kannapolis, Charles R. "Tripp" Reed III and wife Jessica of Mt. Ulla, Edward Lee Reed and wife Roxanne of Mooresville, Bill Haigler and wife Laura of Summerville, SC, Ryan Folson of Greenville, SC, Michael Wiles and Eric Wiles, both of Clarksville, TN; and 11 great-grandchildren.
