Burma Victoria Warren's Obituary
Mrs. Burma Victoria Graham Warren, 63, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at Carolinas Healthcare System - NorthEast in Concord.
A funeral service is scheduled for 6:00 pm Sunday, July 19, 2015, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Mike Roper will officiate. Interment will be 11:00 am Monday at Carolina Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 5:45 pm Sunday at Lady's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Warren was born August 31, 1951 in Concord. She was a daughter of Annie Ruth Gee Burris of Concord and the late Sam Beman Graham. Mrs. Warren received two associates degree from Rowan Community College in Business Computer Programming and Accounting. She also had a BA in Business Administration from Catawba College. Burma had Associate Degrees in Business Computer Programming and Accounting and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Most recently, she received her Real Estate License. Burma, although she did not have children of her own, she was a mother to many over the years as a foster mother and to children throughout the neighborhood.
In addition her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Kermit Warren.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by Natasha Tuggle of Kannapolis; ten siblings, Ben Graham of Mt. Pleasant, Freda Chandler of Rockwell, Devon Graham of Salisbury, Tonya B. Rinehardt of Rockwell, Bryan Burris of New London, Roger Bass of Kannapolis, Sherrie Mitchell of Harrisburg, Charlene Helms of Mt. Pleasant, Daniel Graham of Kannapolis and Todd Graham of Kannapolis; aunt, Marie Anderson of Kannapolis; numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and many foster children.
