Carolyn Kay Smith's Obituary
Mrs. Carolyn Kay Jyrkas Smith, 63, of 7012 Gold Hill Road, Concord, died Thursday, September 11, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast.
A memorial service will be conducted at 5 p.m. Monday, September 15, 2008, at Eastwood Baptist Church. The Rev. Randall Ritchie and the Rev. Darren Yow will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. Monday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times, they will be at the residence.
Born April 5, 1945 in South Dakota, she was the daughter of the late Muriel Frances Lemley. Carolyn was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Robert E. Smith; three daughters, Muriel Tino and husband, Lucky, of Gaffney, SC, Realin Horn of Converse, SC, Crystal Wilcox and husband, Adam, of Salisbury; two sisters, Linda Dusenbury of Macon, NC, Susanne Sparton and husband, Steve, of Las Vegas, NV; three brothers, Richard Lemley and wife, Sheila, Ralph Lemley and wife, Mary, Donald Lemley and wife, Brenda, all of PA; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
