Mrs. Cathy McCombs Johnston, 71, passed away Monday, August 1, 2016, at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte. A celebration of life service is scheduled for 2:30 pm Saturday, August 6, 2016, at Concordia Luthera Read Obituary
My sympathies go to the family. I share a small portion of your sorrow. Our paths seldom crossed in the last fifty plus years, but every time we met, Judy was friendly and gracious. She was a very, special, genuine, and true friend. I will miss her, as I am sure all of her many friends and family will.
May God comfort you in this of time of loss of a very special lady. We knew each other in Jr. High and High School. Then our lives took different paths. Our friendship was renewed when I went to work for the YMCA for a while. Cathy was always kind and polite to everyone. You are in my prayers.
I am so sorry to hear of Cathy's passing. I knew her in elementary school and many of those years we were in the same classroom. She was always a loving, caring person.
