Mr. Charles Earl Wise, 86, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2011, at Avante at Concord. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Tuesday, August 23, 2011, at Mt. Mitchell United Methodist Church. Rev. David Raiford and Rev. Marion Read Obituary
Please know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers. Uncle Earl will be remembered as a kind, friendly and distinguished gentleman. We have fond memories of reunions / visits, especially the ones in Avery County, though much too infrequent.
He will be missed, but encouraged to know he is safely home with his Savior.

I will always remember him as a little girl in the fire department and him square dancing with me. I have many memories to treasure.
