Charlie Alexander Fisher's Obituary
Mr. Charlie Alexander Fisher, 86, of Roseman Road, Salisbury, died Saturday, January 26, 2008 at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 31, 2008, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. William Campbell will officiate. Entombment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:45 p.m. Thursday at Lady's Funeral Home.
Born October 11, 1921 in Rowan County, Mr. Fisher was the son of the late Jacob Francis Fisher and Nannie Efird Fisher. He was a farmer and retired several years ago from A. L. Brown High School in Kannapolis where he was a vocational teacher. He was a member of Mount Zion United Church of Christ in China Grove.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Irene Fisher.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Ludelia Holland Fisher; a daughter, Aloma Fisher Nogueira of Fuquay Varina; one granddaughter, Brigid Nogueira Troan and husband, Erik William Troan, of Cary; and three great-grandsons, Lawrence Arthur Troan, Ian Alexander Troan and Colin William Troan.
