Charlie Hugh Ingram's Obituary
Charlie Hugh Ingram, 89, formerly of North East Avenue, Kannapolis, died Friday, April 15, 2005, at the Brian Center of Concord.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, April 17, 2005, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Richard Pethel will officiate. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, April 18, 2005, at Carolina Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Lady's Funeral Home. They will make headquarters at the home of his daughter, Norma Hodge.
Mr. Ingram was born September 5, 1915, in Alexander County, the son of the late Charlie Mike Ingram and Olive Florinda Echerd. He was of the Baptist faith and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He retired from the sheet department of Cannon Mills Plant One.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Ingram, three brothers and five sisters.
Mr. Ingram is survived by a daughter, Norma Hodge and husband, Bob of Kannapolis; sisters, Pansy King of Kannapolis and Pearl Childers of Taylorsville; brother, Ralph Ingram of China Grove; grandchildren, Debbie Wyatt and Danny Hodge; great-grandchildren, Marty Wyatt, Angie Wyatt, Tyler Wyatt and Misty Efird; and great-great-grandchildren, Austin Ray Efird and Jacob Dean Efird.
