Clara Lee Alexander's Obituary
Mrs. Clara Lee Kenerly Alexander passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Liberty Commons and Rehabilitation in Salisbury.
A graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 pm today, May 24, 2012, at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. Rev. Don Davis will officiate.
Mrs. Alexander was born December 5, 1917 in Danville, VA. She was a daughter of the late Walter Adam Kenerly and Elnona Jane Thomas Kenerly. She retired from China Grove Cotton Mill.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her seven sisters, Grace, Mabel, Blanche, Maude, Ruth, Helen and Lillian.
Mrs. Alexander is survived by her daughter, Paulette Peeler and husband, Jim of China Grove; brother, Johnson Kenerly of Kannapolis; granddaughter, Lauren Hood and husband, David of Raleigh; grandson Adam Alexander Peeler of China Grove; great granddaughter, Lila Hood; numerous nieces and nephews including one special nephew, Jerry Earle, who was a faithful visitor.
