Clessie Ramey Allman's Obituary
Mrs. Clessie Ramey Allman, age 84, formerly of Spring Garden Street, died Thursday, December 3, 2009.
Funeral services for Mrs. Allman will be conducted at 3:00 pm Sunday in God's Church of Faith. The Rev. Jeff Upright will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:30 until 2:30 pm Sunday prior to the service. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Park.
Mrs. Allman was born in Transylvania County, NC on December 12, 1924, a daughter of Allan and Delphia Holcombe Ramey. She retired from Cannon Mills at the age of 77, after over 56 years employment. She was a member of God's Church of Faith.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Everette Allman in 2001.
Survivors include her daughter, Fran A. Maner of Kannapolis, granddaughter Tesha Maner and Brian Furr, great granddaughters, Nikki Sechler and husband Craig, Kayla Harrington and Aaron Barkley; great-great grandchildren Jordan Baker, Isaiah Sechler and Brendan Barkley. A special thanks to Jerry Cline for his support and kindness during her illness and also to her special niece, Violet Eubanks and a great nephew, Jeff Seabolt.
