Clyde Arnold Lamoreux's Obituary
Clyde Arnold Lamoreux was born on September 5, 1935, and died on February 26, 2024, in Kannapolis, NC.
After graduating from high school, he served in the US Army from 1955 - 1958.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Shirley (King); sister, Carol Ensinger; son, Butch (Tammy) Lamoreux; daughter, Linda (Jim) Atwell, 4 grandchildren: Crystal, Samantha, Zak and Jordan, 5 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, Cecil & Adella (Crawford); sister, Beverly Rietzer; and two sisters in infancy.
Clyde worked at Duplex in Sycamore, IL for over 30 years. After moving to Concord, NC, he was a showcar hauler for 10 years at Hendrick Motorsports.
Clyde was quick-witted, a hard worker, loved many pets throughout his life, had a caring heart, and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, music, and NASCAR.
Per his request, there will be no services.
