Connie Mae Nichols Dellinger's Obituary
Mrs. Connie Mae Nichols Dellinger, 89, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 pm Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at New Beginning Community Worship Center. Rev. Robert Earnhardt and Rev. Randy Tucker will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
The family will receive friends from 11 to 12:30 pm Tuesday at Lady's Funeral Home.
Connie was born October 6, 1935 in Rowan County. She was a daughter of the late Zollie Ray Nichols and Jettie Mae Lambert Nichols. She was a member of New Beginning Community Worship Center. She retired from Cannon Mills after 39 years of service where she worked as a fixer. She enjoyed shopping.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Kathleen Kiser; and four brothers, Glenn Nichols, Everette Nichols, Robert Nichols and Clinton Nichols.
Connie is survived by her husband of 71 years, William Calvin Dellinger; two sons, Steven Dellinger of Kannapolis and Mark Dellinger and wife Jennifer of Salisbury; five grandchildren, Steven Lee Dellinger, Jr., Davidge Dellinger, Forrest Dellinger, Logan Dellinger and Heather Dellinger; five great grandchildren, Hannah Lee Dellinger, Akrie Dellinger, Lydia Dellinger, Killian Dellinger and Israel Dellinger; also survived by nieces and nephew and many friends.
