Cora Lee Freeze Rufty's Obituary
Mrs. Cora Lee Freeze Rufty, 78, of Lanell Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana, and formerly of China Grove, NC, died Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at her home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2009, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Lady's Funeral Home.
Born May 6, 1931 in Rowan County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Gibson Freeze and Florence Bostian Freeze. Mrs. Rufty was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Colonel Franklin Gearhart Rufty, Jr., who died May 23, 1978.
Survivors include a son, Randy Rufty of Haughton, LA; four daughters, Leslie Riebesehl of San Antonio, TX, Vicki Kennedy of Rome, GA, Sandra Rufty and Melissa Rufty, both of Bossier City, LA; a sister, Helen Rary of China Grove; one brother, Paul Freeze of Davidson; and seven grandchildren.
