Coy Lee Fleeman's Obituary
Mr. Coy Lee Fleeman, 74, of Ozark, Alabama, died unexpectedly Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at his home.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2009, at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. The Rev. Jeff Upright will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Lady's Funeral Home.
Born August 25, 1934 in Royston, Georgia, he was the son of the late Earley Buford Fleeman and Azalee Pulliam Fleeman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jasper Oliver Fleeman.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Mae Fleeman of Ozark, AL; children, Mary Ruth Nelson of Kannapolis, Edith Ann Bentley of China Grove, Hugh Edward Fleeman and wife, Patricia of Grover, NC, Eddie Ray Fleeman and wife, Chela of El Paso, TX, Ronald Lee Fleeman of China Grove, Daniel Dale Fleeman and wife, Donna of Cleveland, NC, Delores German and husband, Roscoe and Lavern Skipper and husband, Melvin, all of Newton, AL, Katherine Myers and husband, Stephan and Irving Lancaster and wife, Teresa, all of Ozark, AL; two sisters, Lorene Pulliam of Kannapolis, NC, and Mary Lou Smith of Newton, AL; three brothers, Thomas Fleeman of Palm Harbor, FL, Robert Lee Fleeman of Largo, FL, and Gaither Fleeman of Brownwood, TX; 27 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to his wife, Dorothy Fleeman, 3840 S. County Road 20, Ozark, AL 36360, to help with expenses.
