Craig Wayne Cline's Obituary
Mr. Craig Wayne Cline, 63, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.
A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Sunday, January 3, 2021, at Center United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Tony Allen will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service. The family requests masks and social distancing during this time.
Mr. Cline was born February 25, 1957 in Cabarrus County. He was a son of the late Vance Clifford Cline, Jr. and Gladys Virginia Hunsucker Cline. He was a life long member of Center United Methodist Church. Craig was active with the Methodist Men and enjoyed helping with the church's barbecue. He was the Scout Master of Troop 264 at Center UMC and 128 at Epworth UMC. He graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School, Class of 1975, and attended Wingate College. Craig loved farming, his cows and John Deere tractors. He also enjoyed the Green Bay Packers. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for NCDOT. He was a much loved husband, father and PawPaw.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Justin Pritchard Cline.
Mr. Cline is survived by his wife, Joy LeAnn Pritchard Cline; three children, Zack Cline of Concord, Amber Brindle and husband Bryan and Tiffany Goodman and husband Todd, both of Rockwell; sister, Judy Green and husband Mike; brother, Dale Cline and wife Karen, both of Concord; and four grandchildren, Elizabeth Brindle, Madison Cline, Anna Brindle and Drew Goodman.
Memorials may be sent to either the Hot Dog Team or the Methodist Men of Center United Methodist Church, 1119 Union Street South, Concord, NC 28025.
