Cynthia Deen Agee's Obituary
Cynthia Deen Agee, age 49, went to be with her precious Lord and Savior on Friday, July 12,2002, in the Harris Hospice Unit at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte.
Deen fought a courageous 7-year battle with Leukemia. During her battle she continued to be a witness and inspiration to many.
During her final hours family and friends gathered to share stories of her ministering to others, as she always brought people together to celebrate life.
Deen was born November 24, 1952 in Cabarrus County. She was a graduate of Concord High School and attended Central Piedmont Community College. She was employed by Solectron and a member of Shamrock Drive Baptist Church.
Deen is survived by her parents Alvin and Genny Linker, a sister and brother in law Vicki and Ron Jones. Also surviving Is her aunt, niece, nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be Monday between 6 and 8:00 PM at Lady's Funeral Home in Kannapolis. The funeral will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 16, 2002, in the Chapel at Lady's Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in Carolina Memorial Park following the service which will be conducted by the Rev. Boyce Earnhardt.
