David Marshall Harwood, Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. David Marshall Harwood, Jr., 54, of 2117 Lane Street, Kannapolis, died Sunday, July 29, 2007, at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2007, at Genesis Baptist Church. The Rev. Gene Edwards will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2007, at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times, they will be at the home.
Born September 10, 1952, in Cabarrus County, he was the son of the late David Marshall Harwood, Sr. and Katherine Norris Harwood. He was formerly employed in residential construction. He was a member of Genesis Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Terry Harwood of Gray Court, SC, Douglas Harwood of Elkin; a daughter, Elizabeth Harwood Boan of Kannapolis; two stepchildren, Christopher Ridgell of China Grove and Amber Ridgell Clay of Kannapolis; a sister, Mary Etta Musselwhite of Kannapolis; six grandchildren, Codi Boan, Taylor Boan, Alex Harwood, Rayven Harwood, Heather Harwood and Devin Honeycutt; three step-grandchildren, David Clay, Landon Ridgell and Kamden Ridgell; and a special friend, Sue Sossamon of Kannapolis.
